In short: Verdebite is a recipe book and a set of meal plans that adapt to your machine and to how many people eat at your house. You buy it once and it's yours to use. Don't resell it, don't publish it, and don't mistake it for medical advice.

This is food, not treatment

Everything here is recipes, cooking technique and calendars. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything, and it is not a substitute for what a health professional tells you. The carb grams are estimates built from typical values for each vegetable: they're there to compare recipes against each other, not as an exact count.

If you take medication — especially anything whose dose depends on what you eat — if you're pregnant, or if you have a condition that put you on a diet someone told you to follow, talk to that someone before you change how you eat. Changing a lot of what you eat all at once can change how a medication sits with you.

Your account

An account belongs to one person. Sharing the password is not allowed.
Whatever happens with your password is on you: keep it in a password manager, not on a piece of paper.
If I spot an account being shared between several people, I can close it.

What you're buying

A personal license to use the content, not the content itself. Specifically, you can't resell it, republish it, translate it to hand it out, or use it to put together a similar product. You can print the lists and the recipes for your own kitchen, and show them to anyone you like in your house.

It's a one-time payment: there's no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. If the price goes up someday, what you already bought stays yours.

What can change

The content grows and gets corrected: recipes are added, mistakes are fixed, steps are rewritten. That's part of what you bought. If I ever had to shut the site down, I'd say so ahead of time and leave you a way to download what's yours.

How far my responsibility goes

I take care that the amounts add up and that the technique is right — there's an automatic check that won't let me publish a shopping list that doesn't match what gets cooked — but the cooking is yours. I'm not responsible for how a dish turns out, for an allergy you didn't mark, or for indirect damages. If something on the site is wrong, tell me and I'll fix it: that one is on me.

Either way, my liability is limited to what you paid for the product.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States.
